About Me - Amanda MacDougall, Accountant

I am an AAT Qualified Accountant, and am going into my third year as a member in practice. It has and is continuing to be an amazing journey, I am building up an interesting and varied client base and I am happy to say referrals are dominating my increasing client base. I have worked in the industry over 15 years now and the practices I have worked for have covered the length and breadth of Britain, even for a short period in Australia! Working in Australia was a very interesting time in my life, the principle of accounting is the same as the UK, the terminology isn’t though and their tax system has some wonderful anomalies.

I decided to settle in the Rossendale Valley on my return from Australia, where I have found the locals to be extremely friendly and I feel very much at home here. My aim is to offer a very personal and tailor-made service to all small and start up businesses. I enjoy pulling all the relevant information together to help business grow and to make the decisions to do this. I believe in offering new start-up businesses a tailor-made service at affordable prices as I believe I will grow when you do.
